Early on many people asked if One Hot Krymsun would always produce dark bay or brown.
Many have also asked about his color production on paint mares. Although we all know that a great horse
will be great regardless of its color, many times we strive to achieve a certain color for color
breed registration, NSBA class availability, marketability, or just because we like a particular color
of horse.
Whether or not you breed for a particular color, we thought that you might be interested in seeing
the statistics on the colors "Krymsun Comes In"
during the past two foaling seasons. We don't have statistics on the colors by mare color, but that's
something we plan to go back and check. It appears that
mares have been tending to produce their own color when crossed with OHK (palominos
have produced palominos, buckskins have produced buckskins, etc.)
We are updating this stats page every month or so, so if you check back, the numbers may have changed.
Please note that 2006 stats are not complete.
As always, we welcome questions and comments!
