|
| A. |
16 hh
|
Q. |
Has he sired any Hunt Seat prospects?
|
| A. |
Yes, when bred to TB and Hunt Seat mares, he has produced height and stride as well as looks, soft movement, and a great structure. For an example see this gray filly.

Q. |
How often does OHK produce color out of paint mares? Do you provide a Color Guarantee?
|
| A. |
Yes we do provide a color guarantee for APHA mares (not applicable to double registered mares.) If your foal cannot be registered in the standard APHA registry, you may breed back in the next breeding season for roughly half of the stud fee plus a booking fee. |
Q. |
What is his temperament like?
|
| A. |
He is quiet and acts like a puppy dog. I know that everyone says that about their horse, but
this one really is like a puppy. I take him on walks at shows and he just plods along behind me.
He goes from the breeding room to the arena without as much as a whinny for his amateur owner.
And he is putting this mind on his foals.

Q. |
Do you ship fresh cooled semen? How well does he ship?
|
| A. |
We absolutely ship and he ships very well. His initial motility is usually around 80-90%
(70%+ at 24 hours, 50-60% at 48 hours, 40-50% at 72 hours), and concentrations as high as 1200+ pms/ml.
A high percentage of mares that we shipped to, were caught with one shipment.
|
Q. |
Will OHK retire from showing?
|
| A. |
"Jet" has continued on as a show horse in the off-season, because he enjoys working and being ridden.
Training and showing for 6 months out of the year keeps him in top physical shape. He does not show
during breeding season.

Q. |
I noticed that One Hot Krymsun's granddam on his dam's side was a granddaughter of Impressive. Is he HYPP N/N?
|
| A. |
Yes he is N/N. His granddam, Crystal Class, is N/N, so all her offspring are N/N. But as a requirement of shipping
semen to Australia, he actually had his own HYPP test, so he is definitively N/N.
